About Funky Doodles
Based in Teignmouth, Devon the shop can be found on Northumberland Place and stock a range of natural and responsibly sourced creative craft products and a range of products and gifts produced by folk who care about the world we live in.

Our gift range includes handwoven madagascan silk scarves, 'Dalit' candles, 'Incomparable' handmade ceramic buttons, Nukuku fairtrade gift range, alongside locally crafted gifts such as Sallys fused glass, hand cast candles, beach and driftwood usable art and a wonderful selection of natural crafting materials which include Khadi handmade paper, plywood shapes and templates (certified sustainable Birch ply)

Great care and thought has gone into the range and every effort is made to minimise the impact on the enviroment from the product itself to the packaging. We can't unfortunately tread a fairies footstep upon this land, we can however do what we do with thought and care. If anyone has any bright ideas to share on any additional improvements or great ideas which need sharing then please drop us a line... always please to hear from like minded folk!
I am very interested in Madagascan conservation efforts. Much of the reasoning behind the shop and the product range is a direct result of deep concern for the future of our natural world, particularly primates and their habitat worldwide (and that includes us!).
Supporting a grassroot organisation working in the frontline of conservation as well as Shaldon Wildlife Trust has been an inspiring experience and I lookforward to the day when I step onto Madagascan soil for the first time.
